About this converter

Splendor prints gem costs on 90 development cards plus 10 noble tiles, and rows pin total gems. Level 1 opens with four cards at 3 each across onyx, sapphire, ruby and diamond. Level 1 continues with two cards at 4 single color plus a 4 mixed mine plus a 2 plus 2 split. Level 2 runs a 5 single to a 6 single to a 7 mixed camels to an 8 mixed lapidary. Level 3 runs a 7 single Venice to a 10 mixed diamant shop to a 12 mixed diamant shop. The noble tile anchors at 9 bonuses for 3 prestige. One 12 gem card equals four 3 gem cards. Gold tokens stay wild in play and never appear in printed costs.

How to use it

Pick two cards and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. Try 1 diamant shop 12 against level 1 triples to see how many cheap cards one high card costs.

Card names follow art descriptors from the full card list because base Splendor cards carry no personal names. Points ride in context since cost tracks points loosely across tiers. The 12 total for a 4 point card matches the official rules pattern example. Nobles take card bonuses only, never tokens, and stay flagged per row.

FAQ

What do Splendor cards cost?

Total printed gems: 3 to 5 at level 1, 5 to 8 at level 2 and 7 to 14 at level 3. One 12 gem card equals four 3 gem cards.

What does a noble need?

9 card bonuses, like 3 sapphire plus 3 emerald plus 3 diamond, for 3 prestige. Tokens never pay for nobles.

What does gold do?

Wild. It replaces any color at purchase and comes from reserving, but printed costs never include it.

Do cards have names?

No. Base cards carry art and costs but no personal names, so rows use level, bonus color and cost descriptors.
