About this converter
Team Fortress 2 fixes every class speed in Hammer units per second, and the nine classes span 230 to 400. Scout runs 400, Medic 320, Soldier, Pyro, Sniper, Engineer and Spy 300 each, Demoman 280 and Heavy 230. That makes one Scout almost two Heavies. Weapons like the Baby Face Blaster and the Eviction Notice shift speed in play, but this table pins base values. Every value here is the Valve class speed figure.
How to use it
Pick two classes and the unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first, one holds the matching count of the second, one holds the total in speed. Try 1 Scout against Heavies to see the cap rusher against the anchor.
Only nine classes exist, so this table is complete at nine rows. The omission is deliberate: disguised Spies copy enemy speed and bosses scale separately. Booties and shields change Demoman charge math, never base rows. Percentages in game equal speed over 300, which the notes record. Medieval mode changes melee math, never base rows.
