Balatro Planet cards raise the score of one poker hand. Each use adds chips and mult to that hand for the run. The chip part is compared here. Pluto raises High Card by 10 chips and 1 mult. Mercury raises Pair by 15 chips and 1 mult. Uranus raises Two Pair by 20 chips and 1 mult. Venus raises Three of a Kind by 20 chips and 2 mult. Saturn raises Straight by 30 chips and 3 mult. Jupiter raises Flush by 15 chips and 2 mult. Earth raises Full House by 25 chips and 2 mult. Mars raises Four of a Kind by 30 chips and 3 mult. Neptune raises Straight Flush by 40 chips and 4 mult. Planet X raises Five of a Kind by 35 chips and 3 mult. Ceres raises Flush House by 40 chips and 4 mult. Eris raises Flush Five by 50 chips and 3 mult.
How to use it
Pick two Planet cards and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. Try 1 Eris against 1 Pluto to see how many High Card upgrades one Flush Five upgrade equals. The unit box keeps the result in chips.
Values pin Balatro version 1.0 Celestial Pack text at level 1 to level 2. Base hand scores are separate and are noted in each row. Pluto was 15 chips in an early May 2024 snapshot and is 10 chips in 1.0, and the row pins 10 with the older figure noted. Secret hands Planet X, Ceres and Eris must be played once per run to unlock their Planets. Royal Flush levels with Neptune Straight Flush.
