About these numbers: Scales are printed card stats from the official Konami database, not power scaling. Pendulum summon range sits between two scales, so this page compares printed numbers only.

About this converter

Every Yu-Gi-Oh! pendulum monster prints a blue and red scale from 0 to 13 and the pair sets what levels you can summon. Qliphort Carrier, Disk, Stealth, Monolith, Stargazer and Dragonpulse all print 1, Pendulum Sorcerer prints 2, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon prints 4, Wisdom-Eye prints 5, Skullcrobat Joker, Timegazer and Dragonpit print 8, Qliphort Scout, Helix and Shell print 9. That makes Scout nine times Carrier on printed scale, while Timegazer 8 with Stargazer 1 opens levels 2 through 7. Every value here is the printed scale from the Konami card database, with passcodes in notes.

How to use it

Pick two monsters and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked: one holds a count of the first, one the matching count of the second, one the total in scale. Change any box and the other two update. Try 1 Qliphort Shell against Carriers.

Scale math needs two cards. Low 1 with high 9 summons levels 2 through 8. Odd-Eyes 4 needs a higher partner for high levels and a lower partner for low levels. Links and Xyz have no level, so scales never summon them.
