About these numbers: Points are the official Mattel scoring rules, counted from cards left in losers hands at round end. House rules that stack Draw Fours change play, never these values.

About this converter

Uno scores losing hands by the book and the book is short. Number cards pay face value from 0 through 9, action cards Skip, Reverse and Draw Two pay 20 each, and Wild and Wild Draw Four pay 50 each. Skips and Reverses clog losing hands at twenty each, so action heavy losers pay triple a clean number hand. That means one Wild equals fifty Ones or two and a half Draw Twos, while a Zero pays literally nothing. Every value here is the Mattel rules number. First to 500 wins the game, so a single Wild heavy hand can end a match on the spot.

How to use it

Pick two cards and the unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked: one holds a count of the first, one the matching count of the second, one the total in points. Change any box and the other two update. Try 1 Wild against Ones.

Blank wild variants and themed decks reuse the same three tiers. Draw Four stacking is a house rule Mattel disowns, so it never enters this table. Deal seven cards each to start, a rule every argument about stacking forgets. The dealer seat rotates left each round.
