About this converter

These are base physical damage resistances at common quality with no mods, skills or tier upgrades, taken from StarfieldDB suit pages checked against the ESO-UI wiki and INARA. Old Earth leads at 136, Bounty Hunter follows at 128, Explorer at 120, Mantis at 116 and Mercenary at 112. The middle holds Cydonia at 88, Constellation at 78, UC Marine at 72, Sysdef at 68 and Pirate Assault at 61. Ecliptic at 58 and Deepcore at 57 close the set. That makes one Old Earth suit worth about 2.4 Deepcores in raw physical cover. Energy and electromagnetic values sit in the notes of each source page and are not ranked here.

How to use it

Pick two suits and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first suit, one holds the matching count of the second, one holds defense in the chosen unit. Try Old Earth against Deepcore for top against floor.

Quality tiers raise every number here: Calibrated, Refined, Advanced and Superior add about 16 physical points per step on most suits, so an Advanced Constellation can pass a common Mantis. Mods such as Ballistic Shielding add further points plus mass. Helmets and packs add smaller separate layers and stay out of these rows. Unique variants share the same base prints and stay out unless their base differs.
