About this converter

MGLT rates sublight speed in realspace, not hyperspace jumps. This set compares 14 starfighters from 70 to 125 MGLT using the Encyclopedia of Starfighters second edition. Y-wing and Slave I sit low while RZ-2 A-wing sits high. X-wing and TIE Fighter both rate 100. A-wing and E-wing both rate 120. Use the list to check chase gaps and era upgrades.

How to use it

Pick two entries and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. Start with MGLT for exact book figures. Change entries to compare Rebel and Imperial pairs. Gaps show straight line pace only.

MGLT covers straight line sublight pace, not turn rate or hyperdrive class. Canon books updated some Legends game numbers. TIE Interceptor is 110 here versus 111 in older game guides. B-wing is 91 here versus 90 in older lists. TIE Bomber is 90 here versus 80 in X-Wing Alliance data. Y-wing BTL-A4 is 70 while BTA-NR2 is 80. Ships without an official MGLT are left out. Check context for exact model marks.
