About this converter

Generation 1 prints fixed accuracy on every move. Nine standard moves sit at 100: Quick Attack, Ember, Water Gun, Thunder Shock, Body Slam, Surf, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, Psychic and Earthquake. Ice Beam joins them at 100. Tackle sits at 95 in Red and Blue and rose to 100 in later games. Hyper Beam sits at 90. Blizzard sat at 90 in Generation 1 and fell to 70 later. Fire Blast sits at 85. Hydro Pump sits at 80. Thunder sits at 70 and stays the lowest row here. Rain removes Thunder misses and harsh sun halves it further.

How to use it

Pick two moves and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. Try 1 Thunder against 1 Earthquake to see the 70 versus 100 gap. All rows are Generation 1 Red and Blue values.

Values pin Red and Blue game data with later changes noted per row. Blizzard is the big mover: 90 in Generation 1, 70 from Generation 2 on. Tackle moved from 95 to 100 in Generation 6. One hit knockout moves like Guillotine carry no accuracy number and stay out. Swift never misses and stays out because it has no listed value.
