About these numbers: Prices are the fixed Generation I shop values, identical across Red, Blue and Yellow. Hyper Potion is left out because sources disagree on its Gen I price, and that is exactly the kind of row this site refuses to guess.

About this converter

Kanto runs on fixed prices, which makes the Poké Mart a perfect converter. A Poké Ball costs 200, so a Great Ball at 600 is exactly 3 Balls and an Ultra Ball at 1,200 is exactly 6. Healing scales steeply: a Potion at 300, a Max Potion at 2,500, a Full Restore at 3,000. And the Bicycle hangs at one million, unbuyable, the ultimate savings goal that the Bike Voucher sidesteps for free. Every price here is the Generation I shop value from the game data, cross-checked across marts. One row was cut on purpose: sources disagree on the Hyper Potion price, so it stays out until a primary source settles it.

How to use it

Pick two items and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked: one holds a count of the first item, one the matching count of the second, one the total in Pokédollars. Change any box and the other two update. Try 1 Bicycle against Poké Balls.

Prices vary slightly in remakes and later generations, so this table pins Generation I only. Sell prices are half of buy prices in Gen I, which the tool does not need to know since every entry is a buy price.

FAQ

How much is a Poké Ball?

P200 in Generation I, unchanged across Red, Blue and Yellow.

How much is the Bicycle?

The shop display says P1,000,000, but it cannot be bought. The Bike Voucher from Vermilion redeems it for free.

What is the most expensive buyable item here?

Full Restore and TM05 at P3,000 each.

Why is Hyper Potion missing?

Sources disagree on its Generation I price, so it was left out rather than guessed.
