About these numbers: Mana is the fixed Core card cost from the official card library. Blizzard rebalances text and stats most years, so this page pins current Core costs and flags changed rows.

About this converter

Hearthstone prints a mana cost on every Core card, and most Classic tags never move. Backstab costs 0. Frostbolt, Bloodfen Raptor, River Crocolisk and Eviscerate cost 2. Arcane Intellect and Consecration cost 3. Fireball, Polymorph and Chillwind Yeti cost 4. Boulderfist Ogre costs 6. Flamestrike and War Golem cost 7. Tirion Fordring tops at 8 with an 8-8-8 Taunt Divine Shield body. Two rows moved over the years: Frostbolt fell 3 to 2 in beta, and Consecration fell 4 to 3 in patch 26.0.0. Flamestrike kept 7 while its text rose 4 to 5 damage, and Tirion kept 8 while stats rose 6-6 to 8-8. Every figure here is the current Core Cost cell from Hearthstone Wiki card pages with official library links.

How to use it

Pick two entries and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. Try 1 Tirion against 1 Bloodfen Raptor to see the top to early gap in mana. The ratio line prints how many times pricier one card is.

Legacy and Core share most costs here, and rows note where they differ. Stat and text buffs ride beside costs in notes because they change power without moving mana. The zero Backstab row sits last so default picks stay numeric.
