About this converter

Final Fantasy I weapons list base attack from 5 to 45. Small Knife opens at 5, Rapier and Iron Hammer at 9, Scimitar at 10, Iron Nunchaku at 12, Saber at 13, Iron Staff at 14, Falchion and Broadsword at 15, Battle Axe at 16, Werebuster at 18, Silver Sword at 22, Flame Sword at 26, Sun Sword at 36 and Excalibur at 45. That makes one Excalibur equal nine Small Knives of base attack. Broadsword at 550 gil in Pravoka is the early benchmark, Silver Sword marks the Elfland jump. Every value here is the NES base from Pixel Remaster and Origins tables.

How to use it

Pick two weapons and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first, one holds the matching count of the second, one holds the total in attack. Try 1 Excalibur against Small Knives.

Accuracy and crit ride on top of attack, for example Broadsword Hit plus 10 and Crit 3 percent, so rows pin attack only. Element and anti type bonuses change live damage but never change base rows. Masmune at higher attack exists in some versions and stays out to keep NES rows clean.
