About this converter

Everdell scores by printed points. Most critters and constructions show 1 to 4. Farms sit at 2. Mines sit at 3. Kings, Queens, Castles and Palaces sit at 4. Events pay more. Basic board events pay 3 each. Special events pay 4 to 6 based on the card set in your city. Journeys pay 2 to 5 by distance. Coins left at the end convert at 1 point per 3 coins, so leftover money rarely swings a game. A King plus Queen pair totals 8. That matches two Palaces. Small cards win by combos, not by raw print. Free critters from Husband, Wife and Crane cut costs and keep tempo.

How to use it

Pick two entries and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. Try 1 Special event high against Farm card to see the 6 to 2 gap. All rows use VP, so the unit stays fixed. Click any table row to load it as Entry A with amount 1.

Card VP comes from printed values in the Starling Games base set. Event and journey rates come from the rulebook scoring pages. Coin conversion at 1 per 3 is noted but not rowed as a card. No official errata changes these prints. Expansions add new cards with new prints and stay out of this base table.

FAQ

What is the highest printed card here?

4 VP. King, Queen, Castle and Palace all show 4. Special events pay up to 6, but they are board claims, not card prints.

How do events score?

Basic events pay 3 VP each. Special events pay 4 to 6 VP based on the required card set in your city.

How do journeys score?

2 to 5 VP by distance. The furthest spot pays 5. You must send a worker there during play.

What about leftover coins?

1 VP per 3 coins at game end. It rarely decides a close game next to 4-point landmarks.
