About this converter
The Catan base game rulebook fixes every card count in the box. Each of the five resources holds 19 cards, so wood, brick, sheep, wheat and ore match at 19. The development deck holds 25 cards, led by 14 knights and 5 victory points. This table keeps all ten printed counts with rulebook sources.
How to use it
Pick two entries and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. Try brick against knight to compare a resource pile with the soldier stack. Counts read straight since only one unit exists.
Counts cover the base game for three to four players, not the five to six player extension. Resource backs share one design, so piles stay hidden. Victory point cards stay secret until they win the game. Seafarers and Cities and Knights add their own decks and sit outside this table. Each resource pile holds 19 cards for 95 total. The development deck holds 25 cards with knights the largest stack at 14. Victory points hide at five with the three power cards at two each.

They stay secret until played for the win, so opponents track the count instead.
