About this converter

Blackjack card values run 2 to 11 points on fixed Bicycle rules. Twos through Tens score face, Jacks, Queens and Kings score 10 each and Aces score 1 or 11. That makes one Ace equal five and a half Twos at top value. Suits never matter and stay noted. Every figure here is the standard Hoyle table with the Ace option shown.

How to use it

Pick two entries and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. Try 1 Ace against low cards to see the eleven to two gap.

Aces flex between 1 and 11, so rows pin 11 with the soft hand rule noted. Soft seventeen rules shift dealer play, never card values, and stay out. Side bets like Perfect Pairs pay separately and stay out. Spanish 21 drops all Tens and stays noted as a variant. Blackjack pays 3 to 2 on naturals and stays noted but unrowed. Splitting pairs costs a second bet and stays out. Insurance side bets pay 2 to 1 and stay out too. Six deck shoes dominate casinos and stay noted. Tables post minimums and maximums outside rows and stay noted.

FAQ

1 or 11, rowed at 11. Soft hands keep it high until bust threatens.

How much are face cards?

10 points each. Sixteen of fifty two cards hold it, the most common value.

Do suits matter?

No. Suits never change blackjack values, so rows ignore them.
