About this converter
Classic riding runs 20 to 1000 gold across two tiers, and training splits from mount. Apprentice training costs 20 with the slow mount at 80 for 100 total, cut to 90 with one discount and 80 with both. Journeyman training costs 600 with the epic mount at 400 for 1000 total, cut to 800 with both discounts. Faction mounts bend the curve: Frostsaber at 100 exalted and Alterac epic at 640 exalted. That makes the level 60 total ten level 40 totals. Paladin and Warlock class quests cut their own mounts below these rows. Every figure here is the Classic Era base price before discounts.
How to use it
Pick two costs and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. Try 1 level 60 total against level 40 totals to see the ten to one epic grind.
Paladin and Warlock class mounts quest out cheaper and stay out of this trainer table. Burning Crusade repriced everything, training 35 with mounts 10 at 30 and 600 with 100 at 60, and stays noted. Reputation and Rank 3 each cut 10 percent where noted.
