About this converter

Stardew Valley animals and housing run on fixed gold from Marnie and Robin. Chicken costs 800, Duck 1200, Cow 1500, Goat 4000, Sheep and Rabbit 8000, Pig 16000. Housing climbs with them, with Coop at 4000, Barn at 6000, Big Coop at 10000, Big Barn at 12000, Deluxe Coop at 20000 and Deluxe Barn at 25000. That makes one Pig equal twenty Chickens or over ten Cows. Coop tiers gate animals, with Big Coop opening Ducks, Deluxe Coop opening Rabbits, Big Barn opening Goats and Deluxe Barn opening Sheep and Pigs. Every figure here is the gold part from the Wiki tables.

How to use it

Pick two entries and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first entry, one holds the matching count of the second, one holds the total in gold. Try 1 Pig against Chickens.

Void Chicken, Dinosaur, Ostrich and Golden Chicken have no buy price because they hatch from eggs in incubators, so they stay out. Buildings need wood and stone on top of gold, for example Coop 300 Wood 100 Stone, but rows pin gold only to keep math clean. Blue Chickens hatch from Shane 8 heart event, same 800 base.
