About these numbers: Health values are Legacy of the Void ranked multiplayer figures from Blizzard game data, via Liquipedia. Campaign and co op variants differ and sit out. Protoss shields need separate math and stay out.

About this converter

StarCraft II prints exact health for every unit, so math replaces debate. A marine holds 45 hit points and a marauder holds 125, which means one marauder soaks almost three marines of damage. Zerglings at 35 and banelings at 30 die to almost anything, while roaches at 145, queens at 175 and ultralisks at 500 anchor the swarm. Siege tanks at 175, Thors at 400 and battlecruisers at 550 top the Terran side. Every figure here is Legacy of the Void multiplayer health from Blizzard game data.

How to use it

Pick two units and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. Try 1 battlecruiser against marines. The unit box totals the health in hit points or thousands.

Combat Shield adds 10 marine health in game, and the table rows the base 45 with the upgrade noted. Campaign and co op variants change many values, so only ranked multiplayer figures are rowed. Protoss units carry shields above health, which would need its own table, so Zealots, Stalkers and Carriers stay out and the page says so.

FAQ

How much health does a marine have?

45 HP base, 55 with Combat Shield. A marauder at 125 soaks almost three marines.

How much health does a battlecruiser have?

550 HP in Legacy of the Void multiplayer. The ultralisk at 500 is the only row close.

How much health does an ultralisk have?

500 HP. Over sixteen banelings of health at 30 each.

Shields sit above health and need their own math, so only Terran and Zerg health rows appear here.
