About this converter

Most Phasmophobia ghosts hunt at 1.7 m/s base, and special ghosts break that rule. Spirit, Shade, Demon, Myling and Yokai hold 1.7. The Twins split into 1.5 and 1.9. Jinn and Raiju hit 2.5 when their conditions fire. Hantu ranges 1.4 to 2.7 by room temp, pinned at 2.7 cold max. Revenant roams at 1.0 and charges at 3.0, pinned at 1.0. Deogen closes at 0.4 and opens at 3.0, pinned at 0.4. Thaye starts at 2.75 young and ages down to 1.0. Player walk is 1.6 and sprint is 3.0 for context.

How to use it

Pick two entries and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first ghost, one holds the matching count of the second, one holds speed in the chosen unit. Try young Thaye against close Deogen, then switch the unit to km/h to read the same chase as 9.9 against 1.44.

Line of sight accel adds speed over time to 1.65 times base for standard ghosts. Aswang uses faster accel and caps at 2.53. Blood Moon weather adds 15 percent. Custom ghost speed percent scales all rows. Moroi sanity scaling and special calm states stay out to keep 14 stable rows. Pinned values are base or active speeds with conditions in notes.

FAQ

How fast is a normal ghost?

1.7 m/s. Spirit, Shade, Demon, Myling and Yokai all share it before line of sight accel.

How fast is Jinn with the power on?

2.5 m/s with fuse box on, line of sight and over 3 m gap. Else it drops to 1.7.

Why is Deogen listed at 0.4 when guides say 3.0?

Both are true by range. It runs 3.0 far away and 0.4 close. Row pins the close 0.4, note gives the far 3.0.

Does keeping sight of me make ghosts faster?

Yes for most. Sight adds speed to 1.65 times base. Jinn, Raiju, Hantu, Revenant, Deogen and Thaye use fixed rules instead.
