About this converter
Oxygen Not Included geysers from Klei list lifetime average output in the analysis panel. This page compares 14 types on one grams per second scale. Top water rows read 3000 for Water Geyser, Salt Water Geyser and Polluted Water Vent. Mid rows read 1500 for Cool Steam Vent, Cool Slush Geyser, Cool Salt Slush Geyser and Liquid Sulfur Geyser. Lower rows read 1200 for Volcano, 750 for Steam Vent, 600 for Minor Volcano and 300 for Copper Volcano. Gas rows close the table at 150 for Carbon Dioxide Geyser and 105 for Hydrogen Vent and Natural Gas Geyser.
How to use it
Pick two geysers and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first geyser, one holds the matching count of the second, one holds total grams per second. Try Water Geyser at 3000 against Hydrogen Vent at 105. Try Cool Steam at 1500 against Steam Vent at 750. Click a table row to load that entry as Entry A with amount 1.
Values shown are lifetime averages from the wiki Geyser table, converted as kilograms per cycle divided by 600 seconds. For example 1800 kilograms per cycle reads 3000 grams per second, 900 reads 1500, 450 reads 750 and 63 reads 105. Active yields run higher during eruptions, then dormancy lowers the lifetime rate. Geotuner boosts can double output and raise temperature but need Bleach Stone or other inputs, so base rates are rowed here. Leaky Oil Fissure and metal volcano variants past copper share the same family rates and are grouped to keep the comparison clean.
FAQ
Which geyser gives the most water?
Water Geyser, Salt Water Geyser and Polluted Water Vent at 3000 grams per second lifetime. Active yields run higher during eruptions.
How is grams per second calculated?
Divide kilograms per cycle by 600 seconds. For example 1800 divided by 600 equals 3 kilograms per second, or 3000 grams per second.
Do Geotuners raise output?
Yes, up to 5 per geyser. Each adds 20 percent output and raises temperature. They need inputs like Bleach Stone. Base rates are rowed here.
Why is lifetime lower than active?
Dormancy runs 25 to 225 cycles with 40 to 80 percent active time. Lifetime average equals active yield times active share. Storage bridges dormancy.
