The converter shows MPH and KPH side by side.

How to use it

Pick two entries and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. Select Chapman in one box and Joyce in the other box to compare the top two. Switch to KPH to see metric speeds.

Pitch speeds are release point speeds under Statcast since 2017, with older PitchFX marks adjusted by 0.7 mph. Chapman 105.8 uses the adjusted Statcast value for the 2010 pitch first measured at 105.1. Team and date are listed per entry. No single official Statcast fastest figure was found for Glasnow at 101 as a career top mark to include as a separate verified entry. That wording was left out.
