About this converter

Hearthstone crafting runs on Arcane Dust with fixed Blizzard prices. A common costs 40, a rare 100, an epic 400 and a legendary 1600. Golden versions cost 400, 800, 1600 and 3200. Disenchanting pays back less: commons 5, rares 20, epics 100, legendaries 400, with golden cards paying 50, 100, 400 and 1600. That makes one regular legendary equal forty commons to craft. Golden legendaries disenchant into exactly one regular legendary. Every value here is the official Blizzard crafting table.

How to use it

Pick two costs and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first cost, one holds the matching count of the second, one holds the total in dust. Try 1 golden legendary against commons to see the 80 to 1 gap.

Dust economy never moves: craft and disenchant values have held since launch. Signature cards follow golden pricing in recent sets, noted where they apply. Packs average about 100 dust of value, which is why the pity timer math centers on 40 packs per legendary. Card nerfs grant full refunds for a window, which stay out of these base rows.
