About this converter
The original 1997 tables rank every blade by one attack number, and Cloud ladder runs 18 to 100. Buster at 18, Mythril Saber at 23, Hardedge at 32, Butterfly Edge at 39, Enhance at 43, Murasame at 51, Organics at 62, Nail Bat at 70, Crystal at 76, Apocalypse at 88, Heaven Cloud at 93, Ragnarok at 97 and Ultima at 100. Cross-character anchors sit mid ladder: Grand Glove at 31 and Diamond Pin at 33. That makes Ultima worth five and a half Busters. Every figure here is the base attack stat from the original game tables, not Remake numbers.

Pick two weapons and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. Try 1 Ultima Weapon against Buster Swords to see the five and a half to one climb.
Remake stats differ, for example Remake Buster at 22 against original 18, and stay out; original 1997 values are rowed. Hit rate, magic bonus and materia growth do not change the attack stat and stay in notes only. Aerith rods and Cait Sith megaphones sit on their own low ladders and stay out of this Cloud-led table.
