About this converter

Fallout 4 hides 20 Vault-Tec bobbleheads across the Commonwealth. Seven raise a SPECIAL stat by 1. Thirteen grant a fixed perk, from 5 percent better prices to 25 percent extra critical damage. Every location and effect here matches in-game text and the Vault Dweller's Survival Guide. Values use the bonus amount as printed: 1 for stats, 5 for Barter, 10 for Medicine, Repair and Sneak, 15 for Explosives, 25 for weapon crit perks, 100 for Speech vendor caps.

How to use it

Pick two entries and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first bonus, one the matching count of the second, one the total in Points. Try 1 Speech against 1 Strength. Read each note first, since units differ by row.

Rows mix units, so compare with care. A value of 1 means plus 1 stat, plus 1 hack guess, or an easier lockpick sweet spot depending on the row. Percent rows use their printed percent. Speech uses 100 because vendors get 100 extra caps. Lockpicking has no printed number in game, so the row uses 1 and the note states the effect in words. No DLC bobbleheads exist for Fallout 4, so the table holds the full base 20.

FAQ

How many bobbleheads raise SPECIAL stats?

Seven, one per SPECIAL stat: Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility and Luck. Each gives plus 1, and can push a 10 to 11.

Which weapon bobblehead is strongest?

The Explosives bobblehead at Saugus Ironworks gives plus 15 percent damage. Big Guns, Small Guns, Energy Weapons, Melee and Unarmed each give plus 25 percent critical damage.

Which bobbleheads help with caps?

The Speech bobblehead in Vault 114 gives vendors 100 extra caps. The Barter bobblehead at the cannery makes prices 5 percent better.

What number does Lockpicking give?

No fixed number is printed. The in-game text says lockpicking is permanently easier, with a wider sweet spot. The row uses 1 for sorting only.
