About this converter
Fallout 1 base values run 3 to 14500 caps, and they differ from Fallout 2 in key spots. Nuka-Cola opens at 3 against 1 in Fallout 2. Beer sits at 5, Booze at 10, Iguana-on-a-stick at 20, Antidote at 50, Stimpak at 100 against 175 in Fallout 2, Super Stimpak at 225 against 350, 10mm Pistol at 250, Rad-X at 300, Psycho at 400, Metal Armor at 1100, .223 Pistol at 3500, Plasma Rifle at 4000, Combat Armor at 6500, Turbo Plasma Rifle at 10000 and Hardened Power Armor at 14500. Fallout 1 has no Pulse Rifle, so its top row stops below the Fallout 2 peak of 17500.
How to use it
Pick two entries and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. Try 1 Hardened Power Armor against Stimpaks to see the 145 to 1 survival gap.
Barter skill moves resale off these bases and stays out. Buffout at 200 matches Fallout 2 and stays noted rather than rowed. Mentats at 280 and RadAway at 500 sit between rows and stay noted. Power Armor at 12500 sits just under the hardened 14500 row. Fallout 2 revalued Nuka-Cola to 1 or 3 by batch, Stimpaks to 175 and Super Stims to 350; those shifts are called out per row.
