About this converter

Reload time in Counter-Strike 2 is fixed per weapon in game data, and the spread here runs from 2.1 to 5.7 seconds. The MP9 sits at 2.1 as the fastest entry. USP-S and Desert Eagle tie at 2.2. Glock-18 sits at 2.3. AK-47 sits at 2.4. Tec-9 sits at 2.5. MAC-10 sits at 2.6. SG 553 sits at 2.8. Galil AR and MP5-SD tie at 3.0. M4A4 and M4A1-S tie at 3.1. UMP-45 sits at 3.5. AWP sits at 3.7. Dual Berettas sit at 3.77. AUG sits at 3.8. G3SG1 sits at 4.7. Negev sits at 5.7 with M249 tied there. That makes one Negev reload equal about two and seven tenths MP9 reloads. Time alone never decides buys, so pair this table with the damage and fire rate tables before judging a weapon.

How to use it

Pick two weapons and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first weapon, one holds the matching count of the second, one holds total seconds. Try Negev at 5.7 against MP9 at 2.1 for the widest gap, then AK-47 at 2.4 against M4A4 at 3.1 for the rifle split. Only seconds are used here.

Rows pin magazine reload durations from the July 2026 community spreadsheet check via current reference tables. Sources disagree slightly, so each contested row notes the alternate: AK-47 lists 2.4 here against 2.43 and 2.50 elsewhere, M4 rifles list 3.1 against 3.07 elsewhere, AWP lists 3.7 against 3.67 elsewhere. The March 2026 Valve update changed reserve ammo to whole magazines with discard on early reload, but durations stayed as listed. Tube-fed shotguns such as Nova, Sawed-Off and XM1014 use interruptible per-shell timing and stay out. CZ75-Auto lists a 2.7 to 2.8 span rather than a single figure and stays out. Draw and deploy times sit outside this table.
