About this converter
Hyrule posts fixed prices, and the Korok Forest shop shows the floor: apples, milk, eggs and rice at 12 rupees, brightbloom seeds at 8, hearty radish at 32. Arrows sit above food: a single fire arrow at 20, five shock arrows at 80, ten ice arrows at 140, ten bomb arrows at 350. Armor jumps the scale: Snowquill Headdress at 1,000, Flamebreaker Helm at 2,000, Hylian Shield at 3,000, Rubber Armor at 4,000 a piece. Every figure here is the fixed Breath of the Wild or Tears of the Kingdom merchant value from the shop tables. Forbes compared six foods with US federal averages and averaged the result at $0.62 per rupee, which this page uses for fiat math.
How to use it
Pick two entries and a currency in the top row, for example Hearty Radish and US dollar. The three boxes below stay linked, so editing any number updates the other two. Try a shield price or your own figure. Rates used: 1 Rupee = $0.62, 1.6129 Rupees = $1, 1.7419 Rupees = 1 EUR, 2.0484 Rupees = 1 GBP. These fiat rates are rounded estimates.
Nintendo never set a rupee rate, so small foods anchor the scale best and armor shows the top. Items with no price stay out: the Master Sword cannot be bought, so it has no row rather than a guess. Beedle charges 6 rupees for a single arrow while most shops charge 5, and the rows use the common 5 and bundle prices with the difference noted.
FAQ
How much is 1 Rupee worth in dollars?
About $0.62 at the Forbes 2023 average of eggs, milk, butter, rice, bananas and tomatoes. So 100 Rupees is about $62. Treat it as an estimate.
Did Nintendo confirm a Rupee to dollar rate?
No. Prices are fixed in rupees in game, with no official fiat rate. This page compares rupee prices to each other and adds labeled dollar math instead of hiding it.

5 rupees each at most shops, 20 for five, 35 for ten. Beedle charges 6 for one. Elemental arrows cost 20 each, bomb arrows 50 each.
