About this converter
Witcher 3 chest armor runs one clean ladder from 15 to 240. Kaer Morhen opens at 15 as the starting medium gear. Warrior Leather at 30 doubles it in White Orchard. School gear starts the real climb: Griffin at 90, Feline at 120, Ursine at 135. Each school then climbs four tiers. Enhanced Griffin at 125 and Enhanced Ursine at 160, Superior Feline at 180, the three Mastercrafted chests together at 205, the three Grandmaster chests together at 240 in Blood and Wine. Tiers matter more than schools for raw armor. A Mastercrafted Cat at 205 beats a base Bear at 135 by 70 points. Resists and stamina regen decide the rest, so light keeps regen while heavy pays regen for bulk.
How to use it
Pick two chests and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first chest, one holds the matching count of the second, one holds the armor in points. Try 1 Grandmaster Ursine against Kaer Morhens to see endgame against start.
Values are chest piece base armor only, not full set totals. Swords, trousers, gloves and boots add their own armor on top. New Game Plus legendary tiers run higher and stay out so one ladder reads cleanly.
