About this converter

Torchlight 2 enchant base price follows 55 x item level + 245 gold. Level 1 costs 300, level 10 costs 795, level 20 costs 1345, level 30 costs 1895, level 40 costs 2445, level 50 costs 2995, level 60 costs 3545, level 70 costs 4095, level 80 costs 4645, level 90 costs 5195, level 100 costs 5745. That makes a level 100 base near 19 times a level 1 base. Values here are base only, before rarity and enchant count multipliers. Real shop cost is base x count multiplier x rarity multiplier.

How to use it

Pick two enchant levels and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first level, one holds the matching count of the second, one holds total gold. Try level 100 against level 1 to see the 19 times gap.

Enchant count raises cost fast. Game files list cost 1 at 1.0, cost 2 at 2.5, cost 3 at 3.5, cost 4 at 4.5 and higher. Rarity raises it more. Unique is 1.5, legendary is 2.0, magic is 0.75 in base files. Max four enchants per item. Karkozi alone grants the fourth. Disenchant clears all added enchants. Character level and map do not change cost. Only item level matters for the base.
