About this converter
Team Fortress 2 posts base damage for every stock gun, and those bases are fixed at 100 percent range. Needles start at 10 for the Syringe Gun, the Pistol is 15, the Minigun ticks for 36, the Revolver and Knife swing are 40, and uncharged Sniper Rifle is 50. Shotguns land 60 as ten pellets of 6. Melee sets 65 on the Kukri. Explosives top the list: Rocket Launcher is 90, Grenade Launcher direct is 100, and a set Stickybomb is 120. Charged and headshot states scale from there: a fully charged Sniper body is 150, an uncharged headshot is 150, and a fully charged headshot is 450. Every figure here is the base cell from the Official TF2 Wiki damage tables, which cite in-game stats and community tests.
How to use it
Pick two entries and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. Try 1 Stickybomb against 1 Pistol to see how many sidearm shots one trap equals. The ratio line prints the exact multiple at base range.
Base means 100 percent at reference range. Point blank ramp up, long range falloff, splash falloff, crits, mini crits and charge all shift the final number. Scattergun and Shotgun share 6 per pellet math, Minigun fires 4 per tick, and Knife backstab uses a 600 percent multiplier instead of flat damage, so the table lists the 40 swing. No Australium or festive reskins change these bases.
