About this converter

Stardew Valley grants farming XP for each crop harvest based on base sell price. The formula is 16 times the log of 0.018 times price plus 1, rounded. Only the first item counts: extra potatoes, blueberries or cranberries give no extra XP. Regrow crops pay again on each harvest. Coffee Bean opens at 4, Parsnip gives 8, Cauliflower gives 23, Pumpkin gives 31, Ancient Fruit gives 38, Starfruit gives 43 and Sweet Gem Berry tops at 64. Level 1 needs 100 XP and level 5 needs 2150 total. That makes one Sweet Gem Berry equal eight Parsnips.

How to use it

Pick two entries and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first crop, one holds the matching count of the second, one holds total EXP. Try Parsnip against Sweet Gem Berry, then Cauliflower against Starfruit.

Older guides list 44 for Starfruit and 14 for Blueberry, but those figures are out of date and this page uses current Farming page values. Quality does not change XP: normal, silver, gold and iridium all pay the same per harvest. Wild seed forages and animal actions use separate rates. Rice and fiber crops stay out of this list.
