About this converter

Stardew Valley hides over 40 artifacts in artifact spots, fishing chests, mines and geodes. Each one sells for a fixed base price in gold at normal quality with no professions. This page compares 15 of them, from the 1 gold Dwarf Scrolls to the 500 gold Golden Mask. Prices come from ConcernedApe game data v1.6 as transcribed on the Stardew Valley Wiki Artifacts pages. Donating the first of each to the Museum pays nothing, so the table answers the sell side only.

How to use it

Pick two artifacts and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. Try 1 Golden Mask against a Dwarf Scroll to see the 500 to 1 gap. Then test Elvish Jewelry against an Arrowhead to compare 200 gold with 40.

The v1.6 Treasure Appraisal Guide triples artifact sell prices, so a 40 gold Arrowhead fetches 120 with the book read. All rows here use base prices before that book. Dwarf Scrolls I through IV each sell for just 1 gold, the lowest fixed prices in the game. The Strange Doll at 1000 gold and the Dinosaur Egg at 350 gold sit outside these rows since one is a rare drop and the other doubles as an incubator egg. Artifact spot odds shift with season and map, but sell prices never move.

FAQ

Which artifact sells for most?

The Golden Mask at 500 gold base, found in Desert artifact spots and the Trove.

Which artifact sells for least?

The four Dwarf Scrolls at 1 gold each. They exist for the Dwarvish Translation Guide, not for cash.

Does the Treasure Appraisal Guide change prices?

Yes, triple. The v1.6 book multiplies base prices, so rows here stay at base for clean comparison.

Should I sell or donate artifacts?

No cash for first donations. Sell duplicates and donate one of each for Museum rewards.
