About this converter

RimWorld lists a fixed meat amount per adult animal in the Meat Amount stat page. Elephant, Megasloth and Thrumbo each give 560. Rhinoceros gives 420. Bison, Cow, Horse and Muffalo each give 336. Grizzly bear and Polar bear each give 301. Boomalope gives 280. Pig gives 238. Deer gives 168. Alpaca gives 140. Sheep gives 105. Chicken gives 42. One Elephant equals over thirteen Chickens in meat. All rows pin base adult values before butchery work.

How to use it

Pick two animals and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first animal, one holds the matching count of the second, one holds total meat. Try Elephant against Chicken to see the 560 to 42 gap. Click a table row to load that entry as Entry A with amount 1.

Values are base adult meat amounts before Butchery Efficiency, work station factor, difficulty yield, malnutrition, missing parts and slaughter quality. Butcher spots use a 70 percent factor while butcher tables use 100 percent. Not carefully slaughtered applies 0.66. Malnutrition at 100 percent applies 0.4. A post-process curve lifts very low rolls, with points at 0, 5, 40 and 100000. Dryads at base 2, mechanoids at 0 and small 31 meat animals such as rat, hare and squirrel sit outside this set to keep standard hunts clear. Human 140 is left out because this page covers animals only.
