About this converter

This page pins FireRed and LeafGreen in Kanto. Payouts follow a fixed formula: trainer class base times the level of the last party member. Gym Leaders use base 100 and Elite Four use base 100. Brock ends with Lv14 Onix for 1400. Misty ends with Lv21 Starmie for 2100. Lt. Surge ends with Lv24 Raichu for 2400. Erika pays 2900. Koga and Sabrina both pay 4300. Blaine pays 4700. Giovanni pays 5000. Elite Four run 5400 to 6000. Champion Blue pays 6300. All values are first battle payouts, not rematches. That makes Blue equal 4.5 Brocks.

How to use it

Pick two entries and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first payout, one holds the matching count of the second, one holds total Pokedollars. Try an early gym against a late gym, then Elite Four against Champion.

Rematch teams pay more at 6600 to 7500, but those figures stay out to keep one clear version. Red and Blue versions pay less, like Brock at 1386, and stay out for the same reason. Pokedollars have no official dollar rate, so this page compares payouts to payouts.

FAQ

Why pin FireRed and LeafGreen?

Teams and payouts are fixed per version. Base 100 times last level gives each value. Mixing games would blur the math.

Why do Koga and Sabrina match?

Both end with Lv43 Pokemon. Koga ends with Weezing. Sabrina ends with Alakazam. 100 times 43 is 4300.

What does the Elite Four pay?

Lorelei 5400. Bruno 5600. Agatha 5800. Lance 6000. Champion Blue 6300. All first battles.

Why leave out rematches?

Rematches pay 6600 to 7500 with new teams. One version keeps math clean.
