About these numbers: Stats are Gen I base Attack before IVs, EVs, badges and stat stages. Real damage multiplies level, power and typing on top, so rows pin the base only.

About this converter

Red and Blue store one Attack number per species from 5 to 134. Chansey opens at 5, magikarp at 10, abra at 20, caterpie at 30, bulbasaur at 49, alakazam at 50, pikachu and eevee tied at 55, vaporeon at 65, raichu and fearow tied at 90, sandslash and mew tied at 100, snorlax and mewtwo tied at 110, gyarados at 125, machamp at 130 and dragonite at 134. That makes one dragonite equal almost twenty seven chanseys of Attack. Every value here is the Gen I base with badges and stages left out.

How to use it

Pick two Pokemon and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first, one holds the matching count of the second, one holds the total in Attack. Try 1 Dragonite against Chanseys.

Badges boost Attack by 12.5 percent each outside battle math shown here, and stages multiply in battle. Special runs off a separate stat, which is why alakazam and mewtwo hit harder than their Attack suggests. Speed, EXP and catch rates for the same dex set run on companion pages.
