About this converter

Oblivion posts fixed prices for houses and horses, so the whole property ladder fits one table. The Waterfront Shack costs 2,000 gold, Bravil 4,000, Benirus Manor 5,000, Leyawiin 7,000, Bruma 10,000, Cheydinhal 15,000, Arborwatch 20,000 and Rosethorn Hall 25,000. Horses run cheaper: Paint at 500, Bay at 1,000, Chestnut at 2,500, White at 4,000 and Black at 5,000, with horse armor at 500. Every figure here is the fixed in game price from UESP game data, and the 2025 Remastered keeps the same numbers.

How to use it

Pick two listings and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. Try 1 Rosethorn Hall against Waterfront Shacks. The unit box totals the cost in gold or thousands of gold.

Benirus Manor needs the Where Spirits Have Lease quest and furnishes free after it, noted here. Free mounts stay out as zero value rows: Prior Maborel's Paint Horse, the Armored Old Nag, Shadowmere from the Purification quest and the wild Unicorn. Bethesda never set a gold to dollar rate, so this page compares gold costs to each other.
