About this converter
Minecraft mobs are measured in blocks, and one block is one meter by design, so every hitbox height is already a real measurement. Steve is 1.8 blocks tall, which makes him 1.8 meters. An Enderman at 2.9 blocks towers over him, and the Ender Dragon's full hitbox reaches 8 blocks. The numbers on this page are the white hitbox values from the game code as documented on the Minecraft Wiki, not the visual models, which is why a Ghast reads 4.0 even though its tentacles dangle lower. Mobs with baby variants or poses are listed in their normal adult standing state.
How to use it
Pick two mobs and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked: one holds a count of the first mob, one the matching count of the second, one the height in the chosen unit. Change any box and the other two update. Stack Creepers against an Ender Dragon to feel the scale.
Visual models and hitboxes differ on purpose. The Ghast hitbox excludes tentacles, the Spider is wider than tall, and sneaking or gliding changes the player hitbox. Those variants are noted per entry rather than listed separately.

How tall is Steve in Minecraft?
1.8 meters (1.8 blocks), with a 0.6 block width. Sneaking lowers the height to 1.5.
How tall is an Enderman?
2.9 meters, the joint tallest overworld mob alongside the Warden.
Is one block really one meter?
Yes. Mojang designed blocks as cubic meters, and the whole physics and hitbox system treats them that way.
Why is the Ghast only 4 blocks?
4.0 is the damage hitbox. The tentacles hang below it but cannot be hit, so they are excluded from the official value.
