About this converter

Naughty Dog gives no numeric HP table for infected, so this page uses guide-tested equivalents on the Factions 100 HP scale. Humans sit at 100. Runners sit at 50 as the weakest infected. Dogs sit at 60. Stalkers sit at 75 as tougher ambushers. WLF soldiers, Seraphites, Rattlers and Hunters sit at 100 each. Clickers sit at 150 with plate armor. Shamblers sit at 600 with spore bursts. Bloaters sit at 800 with fungal plates and acid bombs. The Rat King sits at 2000 as a multi-form boss. Order follows infected and faction guides. Runners die to 1 headshot, Clickers need a shiv or shotgun, Bloaters need multiple Molotovs and the Rat King needs staged fire and explosives.

How to use it

Pick two entries and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first enemy, one holds a count of the second, one holds HP. Try 1 Rat King against 1 Runner to see 2000 against 50. Click a table row to load that enemy as Entry A with amount 1.

Equivalents, not game files. Naughty Dog publishes Factions damage numbers and the 100 HP player pool, but no infected HP table, so Runner 50 to Rat King 2000 are guide-derived damage tolerances. They are labeled as equivalents because fans compare them as HP, but they are not datamined HP. Rat King phases vary by split form, so the 2000 value is a combined total, not per split. Grounded and Survivor scaling is left out. HBO series versions are left out. No figure here is presented as a game file dump.

FAQ

Why no official HP numbers?

Naughty Dog never published an infected HP table. Values here map guide kill needs to the Factions 100 HP scale.

How tough is a Bloater?

800 HP here. Multiple Molotovs or 2 fully upgraded hunting rifle shots, plus shotgun follow-up when stunned.

How tough is the Rat King?

2000 HP combined. It splits into forms and needs staged fire, pipe bombs and rifle work.

What is 100 HP?

The Factions player pool. A 9mm at 20 damage needs 5 body shots. Humans and Clickers scale from that base.
