That means one XIV roster equals more than 2 XII rosters. Every figure on this page is a launch arcade roster count from Wikipedia game pages, Altar of Gaming roster lists and SNK announcements. Bosses, hidden characters and console extras are counted in different ways across sources, so this page uses arcade launch playable counts and notes extras per row. Strikers and DLC are excluded. Early rosters grew from 24 in KOF 94 to 38 selectable in KOF 98.
