About these numbers: Prices are fixed vendor and panel fees. ArenaNet never set a gold to dollar rate for these fees, so this page compares gold costs against each other and offers no USD conversion rather than inventing one.

About this converter

Guild Wars 2 charges fixed gold fees for commanders, guilds and crafting, which makes every sink easy to compare. A first commander tag costs 300 gold, creating a guild costs 1 gold, and a Superior Rune of Holding costs 10 gold. That means one commander tag equals 300 guild foundings or 30 Superior Runes. Every figure on this page is a fixed vendor or panel price from GW2 Wiki: commander compendiums, guild roster tiers, bag runes and crafting fees. Commander tags also need 250 Badges of Honor each, and the table notes that extra cost. Gold has no official dollar rate, so this page compares gold costs to each other.

How to use it

Pick two costs and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked: one holds a count of the first cost, one the matching count of the second, one the total in gold. Change any box and the other two update. Try 1 commander tag against guild roster upgrades, or a Superior Rune of Holding against crafting switches.

The second commander compendium always costs 150 gold plus badges, no matter which style you bought first. Guild roster growth runs 0.01, 0.1, 1, 1 and 2 gold from 100 to 500 members. New crafting disciplines are free to learn. Only switching back to a maxed level 500 discipline costs 0.5 gold.
