Grim Dawn Tier 1 devotion costs in these rows run 3 to 5 points per constellation. Each star costs one devotion point. Four constellations cost 3 points: Hammer, Hawk, Jackal and Lion. Four constellations cost 4 points: Empty Throne, Rat, Viper and Raven. Four constellations cost 5 points: Anvil, Falcon, Fiend and Bat. All 12 need only 1 affinity to start. Max devotion is 55 points per character from shrines and Crucible tribute. That makes one 5 point Bat equal five thirds of a 3 point Hammer. Rows pin full completion counts from the official wiki star tables.
How to use it
Pick two constellations and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first cost, one holds the matching count of the second, one holds total devotion points. Try Bat at 5 against Hammer at 3. Try Fiend at 5 against Rat at 4. Click a table row to load that entry as Entry A with amount 1.
Cost equals star count at one point per star. Affinity required is 1 for all Tier 1 rows here. Affinity bonus is paid on full completion and is not spent: Hammer gives 4, Empty Throne gives 5, Falcon gives 3 and 3, Fiend gives 2 and 3, Jackal gives 3, Rat gives 2 and 3, Viper gives 2 and 3, Bat gives 2 and 3, Hawk gives 3, Raven gives 5 and Lion gives 3. A finished constellation can support its own requirement, which lets early Crossroads points move elsewhere. The Spirit Guide can refund points for iron plus Aether Crystal. Points tied to needed affinity cannot be removed. Tier 2 and Tier 3 constellations need 8 to 22 plus affinity and stay out to keep Tier 1 math clean.
