About this converter

Final Fantasy II weapons list base attack from 6 to 150. Javelin opens at 6, Broadsword at 8, Spear at 11, Longsword at 13, Mythril Spear at 18, Mythril Sword at 20, Ancient Sword at 25, Sleep Blade and Trident at 30, Wing Sword and Demon Spear at 42, Flame Sword at 63, Defender at 78, Excalibur at 100 and Masamune at 150. That makes one Masamune equal twenty five Javelins or almost nineteen Broadswords. Swords suit Firion, spears suit Gordon. Blood Sword at 0 drains by hits rather than attack and stays out. Every value here is the Famicom base from Wiki and RPGClassics tables.

How to use it

Pick two weapons and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first, one holds the matching count of the second, one holds the total in attack. Try 1 Masamune against Javelins.

Proficiency levels raise live damage but never change base rows. Status blades add Curse or Sleep on top, for example Ancient may Curse, Sleep may Sleep, so rows pin attack only. Costs shift by version, for example Broadsword 100 Famicom against 400 GBA, attack holds.
