About these numbers: Damage values are unmodded base from game data, before receiver mods, perks and legendary rolls. Energy splits total both halves in rows. Explosive area math and damage resistance apply in play and stay out of rows.

About this converter

Fallout 4 prints one base damage number per weapon, from 8 to 468. The Minigun opens at 8 per bullet, the Baton at 11, the 10mm Pistol at 18, the Laser Gun at 24, the Deliverer at 25, the Classic 10mm at 28, the Combat Rifle and December Child tied at 33, the Double-Barrel at 45, the .44 Pistol, Eddie Peace and Plasma Gun tied at 48, the Combat Shotgun at 50, the Institute Plasma Rifle at 56, the Manwell Carbine at 69, the Gauss Rifle at 110, the Harpoon Gun at 150 and the Fat Man at 468. That makes one Fat Man equal twenty six 10mm Pistols of base damage. Receiver mods, perks and legendary rolls add on top in play. Every value here is the unmodded base with splits noted where they divide.

How to use it

Pick two weapons and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first weapon, one holds the matching count of the second, one holds the total in damage. Try 1 Fat Man against 10mm Pistols.

Splits stay shown: Plasma Gun deals 24 plus 24 energy, Institute Plasma Rifle 28 plus 28, both totaled in rows. Minigun lists 8 per bullet at a 272 fire rate, so burst math dwarfs single shot rows. Unique variants tie their base: Eddie Peace ties .44 at 48, December Child ties Combat Rifle at 33, both flagged. Creation Club and Far Harbor rows are flagged as add-on stock. Fat Man 468 against Minigun 8 shows over fifty eight to one per trigger pull. Companion damage pages for caps run separately.
