How to use it

Pick two weapons and the damage unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. Try Greatsword against Dagger to feel the 4.5 damage gap. Averages read straight since only one unit exists.

Averages follow the die average rule of half the die plus 0.5 per die, so 1d8 gives 4.5 and 2d6 gives 7. Longsword at 4.5 reflects one handed use, with 5.5 versatile in two hands. Spear at 3.5 reflects one handed use, with 4.5 versatile. Modifiers, feats and magic bonuses stay out, so these are base table figures only. Heavy Crossbow at 5.5 leads ranged weapons here.
