About this converter

Cyberpunk 2077 damage scales by tier from 1 to 5++. This page pins Tier 1 Common base damage per hit for fair compares. Pistols sit near 7 to 22 damage. Rifles sit near 7 to 10 damage. Shotguns and snipers sit higher per shot. Iconic variants share base frames but add perks and higher tier growth. G-58 Dian opens at 6.8 and Nekomata tops at 32. That makes one Nekomata equal almost five Copperheads per hit. Values come from in game tier tables and wiki infoboxes.

How to use it

Pick two entries and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first weapon, one holds the matching count of the second, one holds total damage. Try Copperhead against Nekomata, then Lexington against Unity. Drops scale up fast with tier.

Tier 1 is the low pinned base. Higher tiers run several times higher. Shotgun totals split across pellets in play: DB-4 Igla lists 22.8 across 6 projectiles. Widow Maker fires bursts with 5 projectiles per shot. Dying Night and Pit Bull scale with their base frames. Fire rate stays out so per hit crowns differ from DPS crowns. Patch 2.0 stats are used here.

FAQ

Why pin Tier 1 values?

Damage scales from Tier 1 to Tier 5++. Tier 1 Common gives a fair base across all frames.

Do iconic guns share base damage?

Often yes. Dying Night shares 9.2 with Lexington at Tier 1. Pit Bull shares 10.2 with Ajax. Sovereign shares 22.8 with Igla.

Is shotgun 22.8 per pellet?

No. DB-4 Igla lists 22.8 per trigger pull across 6 projectiles. Per pellet math is lower before mods and falloff.

Why leave out DPS?

DPS mixes fire rate and reload. Base per hit keeps pistols, rifles and snipers on one scale.
