About this converter

Breakout bricks pay 1 to 7 points by color. Arcade Yellow opens at 1 with 2600 Aqua and Blue, arcade Green at 3, 2600 Yellow and Green at 4, arcade Orange at 5, arcade Red with 2600 Orange and Red at 7, Super Breakout full wall at 416 and 2600 two wall max at 864. That makes the max equal over a hundred twenty three Reds. Ball speed rises after 4 hits and 12 hits and on orange and red contact, and the paddle halves past the red row.

How to use it

Pick two values and a unit in the top row, for example Red brick and Yellow brick. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first value, one holds the matching count of the second, one holds total points. Try 1 Super wall against Reds.

Arcade gives three balls for two screens while 2600 gives five balls, so max runs differ off page. Steerable ball and catch and invisible variants change play without changing brick rows. Wozniak prototyped the arcade original with Jobs assisting. Paddle shrink and speed thresholds sit out of point rows.
