About these numbers: Prices are the fixed New Horizons Nook Cranny sell values. Nintendo never set a bell to dollar rate, so this page compares bell prices against each other instead of inventing one. C.J. pays 50 percent extra and Flick rules do not apply to fish.

About this converter

New Horizons pays fixed bells per fish at Nook Cranny. The ladder opens low: horse mackerel 150, anchovy 200, dab 300, black bass 400, sea bass 400. Mid prices climb through squid 500, olive flounder 800, sea butterfly 1000, football fish 2500, red snapper 3000, blowfish 5000. High prices finish with tuna 7000, oarfish 9000, blue marlin 10000, then four fish tied at 15000: coelacanth, golden trout, great white shark and stringfish. That makes one coelacanth equal one hundred horse mackerels or over 37 sea bass. Every value here is the New Horizons sell price.

How to use it

Pick two fish and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first fish, one holds the matching count of the second, one holds the total in bells. Try 1 Coelacanth against Sea Bass.

Barreleye and dorado also pay 15000 and stay out to keep the top tier to four icons. Prices pin New Horizons only since older games shift some values. C.J. buys fish at 1.5 times these prices when he visits, so multiply by 1.5 for his rates. Bait, shadow size and season affect how fast you find a fish, not what it pays.
