About these numbers: Prices are the fixed New Horizons Nook Cranny sell values. Nintendo never set a bell to dollar rate, so this page compares bell prices against each other instead of inventing one. Flick pays 1.5 times for bugs.

About this converter

New Horizons pays fixed bells per bug from 10 to 12000. The ladder opens with cicada shell at 10, common butterfly at 160, tiger butterfly at 240, robust cicada at 300, walker cicada at 400, mantis at 430, evening cicada at 550, spider at 600, blue weevil at 800 and miyama stag at 1000. Mid prices climb through saw stag at 2000, orchid mantis at 2400 and wasp at 2500. High prices finish with rainbow stag at 6000, tarantula and scorpion tied at 8000, giant stag at 10000 and golden stag at 12000. That makes one golden stag equal twelve hundred shells. Every value here is the New Horizons sell price.

How to use it

Pick two bugs and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. One box holds a count of the first bug, one holds the matching count of the second, one holds the total in bells. Try 1 Golden Stag against Cicada Shells.

Giraffe stag, goliath beetle and cyclommatus stag also pay top tier rates and stay out to keep the table at 18 icons. Prices pin New Horizons only since older games shift some values. Flick buys bugs at 1.5 times these prices, so a 12000 stag pays 18000 to Flick. Drop-off box pays 20 percent less.
