About this converter

Made in Abyss maps its pit in fixed depth bands, and the manga repeats the numbers at each boundary. The 1st layer ends at 1,350 m, the 2nd at 2,600, the 3rd at 7,000, the 4th at 12,000, the 5th at 13,000 and the 6th at 15,500. Two mapped camps sit inside those bands: Seeker Camp at 2,540 m and the Garden of the Flowers of Fortitude at 9,000. This table keeps the town at the rim plus those bands and camps.

How to use it

Pick two entries and a unit in the top row. The three boxes below stay linked. Change any box and the other two update. Try the town of Orth against the 6th layer floor to feel the full 15,500 m drop. Switch to feet for a familiar reading.

Depths are vertical meters below the rim at Orth, not walking distance. The 7th layer starts past 15,500 m but its floor was never mapped, so it is left out. The curse strains listed in guidebooks pair with these bands and grow worse with depth. Camp figures come from manga chapter pages that print the depth beside the location name. Seeker Camp rests 60 m above its own layer floor.

FAQ

How deep is the 1st layer?

1,350 m. The Edge of the Abyss marks the floor of the 1st layer and the start of the 2nd.

How deep is Seeker Camp?

2,540 m. It sits just above the 2nd layer floor at 2,600 m.

Are these depths stated in the manga?

Yes. The manga prints each band: 1,350, 2,600, 7,000, 12,000, 13,000 and 15,500 m. Camps at 2,540 and 9,000 m come from chapter pages.

Why is the 7th layer missing?

Because its floor was never mapped. The story places it past 15,500 m but gives no number, so this table stops at the 6th layer floor.
